Reading Blog#2
Academic writing is the understanding of what we read or know to respond the ideas to the others. It is also like a thoughtful idea which comes from the other conversations and writes it into academic style. "Empathy" is one of the ways to understand other's perspectives of what they believe and think. There are steps to joining an Academic Conversation. 1) Be receptive to the ideas of others.2) Be respectful 3) Engage with new perspectives 4) Be flexible to be open mind. By doing this way, we can expand our thinking to ask more questions. First thing, we need to do is find the issues that stand out to you and interesting to you. Then, focus on a specific issue to organize your inquiry and develop an argument, think about your audience. After thinking about what is our research, try to come out with the questions that relevant to our paper. Like why education is important? Do people who live in poor countries can afford their children in education, if they don't, then why? By asking these why, how, what questions can help us to lead an argument or belief to write for our research paper.
" These two concerns- with inclusion and with exclusion - helped focus the student's inquiry" (88).
Like what kind of question we should address for a specific issue and what kind of question we shouldn't address?
